Mission

Muslim Community Center of East Bay (MCC) is a non-profit 501 c(3) organization dedicated to providing religious, educational, social and recreational services to the Muslim community of Tri-Valley area of San Francisco East Bay. It was incorporated in 2006 with the charter of providing a regional solution to address the needs of the community with a professionally run and self sustaining community center.

Our focus is to provide youth of our community with the resources that will help them make a positive impact in our community at-large and contribute to the broader society through civic involvement, public service and achieve professional success while preserving their traditional Islamic values. We invite everyone in the community to join hands with us in building a better and brighter future for our children by infusing them with our traditions of compassion and respect while empowering them to lead successful lives as productive citizens.

MCC’s other important charter is to facilitate dialogue with other communities and faiths to develop understanding and harmony. MCC believes that all faiths and communities can live in harmony and we urge dialogue and discussion among people of all faiths to better understand each other.
